About me..

I love the guitar. I find the instrument to be so incredibly expressive and it’s a real joy to learn, explore & play. Especially when you play with others.

My journey with the guitar began at the age of 10, initially serving as a pastime in my rural upbringing. However, over the years, it evolved into much more—it became my passion, something I actively pursue every day.

During my formative years, I played in various bands, covering both established and original material, and also took on the role of teaching beginners. As life progressed, I recognized the need for a more stable livelihood, leading me to pursue a business career through college.

While my focus shifted to career and family, my guitar playing took a backseat. Once my professional foundation was established, I reignited my interest in music. The experience of playing, studying, writing, and performing live again was invigorating.

During this period, I ventured into YouTube, finding it to be a valuable platform that kept my passion alive. My long-term goal is to resume teaching, perform live, and continue creating YouTube content upon retirement. I aspire to connect with like-minded players, sharing and learning from our collective experiences with the instrument.
